Forgiveness is the key to healing. This is very difficult for many to do and comprehension may even be more difficult. For it is not for you to forgive others for their sake, but for you own. Because you deserve to be free of the constraints these attachments hold over you.
When you forgive, you allow yourself to heal the emotional wounds that scar your soul. You are healing your essence so you may transform into one who is ever closer to loving who you are. It is self-love emerging into complete self-acceptance. And that is freedom.
